As of September 14, 2017, Prof. Dr Petya Lubomirova Kabakchieva was appointed Chair of the Accreditation Council and President of the National Evaluation and Accreditation Agency (NEAA) with a 6-year term of office.
Prof. Dr Zoya Kostova Mladenova, Prof. Dr Hristo Vasilev Georgiev, Prof. Dr Danail Borisov Petrov, Prof. Dimitar Ferdinandov Grekov, PhD, and Prof. Eng. Martin Dimitrov Banov has been appointed as members of the Accreditation Council of NEAA, also with a 6-year mandate.
The current members are dismissed from the board: Prof. Valeria Nikolova Fol, PhD, Prof. Todor Simeonov Kertikov, Prof. Vera Petrova Boneva, PhD, Prof.Dr Radoslav Alexandrov Gherchev, PhD and Prof.Dr Ivan Stoyanov Vrliyakov.
