With the decision of the Council of Ministers dated 04.10.2023, the composition of the Accreditation Council (AC) of the National Evaluation and Accreditation Agency (NEAA) is updated. The composition of the AC is determined based on proposals of the Minister of Education and Science, the Council of Rectors, the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and the Agricultural Academy (Article 86, Paragraph 5 of the Higher Education Act).
Prof. Dr. Eliza Stefanova from Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" is the new president of the NEAA.
From the quota of the Council of Rectors are included art.-cor. Prof. Dr. Stefan Kostyanev from Medical University - Plovdiv, Prof. Dr. Stanimir Yotov from Trakia University - Stara Zagora and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gergana Boyanova from University of National and World Economy. From the quota of the Ministry of Education and Science, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Maria Kehaiova-Stoicheva from the University of Economics - Varna was selected.
